The Highlights of Yucatán

After breakfast your panoramic city tour starts through Merida, which is, due to its houses, also known as the "White City". Among other important sights, you get to know the cathedral and the government palace in the historic city centre, as well as the Paseo de Montejo with its gorgeous houses. Afterwards we bring you back to your hotel and you can enjoy your free afternoon. Overnight stay. 

In the morning you leave towards Uxmal, which is Yucatans most important archeological site next to Chichen Itza on the Yucatan Peninsula. During your guided tour you see the pyramids of the fortuneteller and the wizard, the casa de las Monjas, the ball game court and the Palacio del Gobernador until you move on to the next Mayan site Kabah. After enjoying another guided tour at that spot, you go back to your hotel in Merida. Overnight stay.

This day is a day of pure nature. In the morning your tour leads to the Celestun Beach where you can watch one of the most extensive flamingo colonies during a boat trip through the unique mangrove woods. After lunch you can enjoy your free afternoon on the beautiful beach. Experience the amazing flora and fauna and just relax at Celestún Beach before we bring you back to your hotel in Merida.
