1. Day: Arrival in Mexico City

According to your time of arrival we pick you up at the airport and bring you to your hotel. Overnight stay.

2. Day: City Tour & Anthropological Museum

After breakfast we take you on a panorama city tour. You visit among others the huge Zocalo with its famous cathedral and the government palace with the impressive murals designed by Diego Riviera. To make the city tour perfect, it finishes off with an informative visit of the anthropological museum, which is situated on the brink of the Chapultepec Park. Afterwards you are being brought back to your hotel. In the afternoon you can take the opportunity to discover Mexico City on your own. Overnight stay.

3. Day: Pyramides of Teotihuacán & Basilica de Guadalupe

Today you are off towards the impressive archeological site Teotihuacán that is situated about 65 kilometers away from the city. You definitely shouldn't miss out on climbing up the Sun- or Moon Pyramid as it provides you with an imposing view over the whole area over the former "city of gods". Then you keep going to the Basilica de Guadalupe, the most famous pilgrimage site of Mexico, before we bring you back to your hotel. Overnight stay.

4. Day: Mexiko City - Tuxtla - Sumidero & San Cristóbal

After breakfast you are brought to the airport in Mexico City from where you take your flight to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, where you are picked up at the airport and directly transferred to the spectacular Cañon del Sumidero, which counts at its highest point 1000 meters. Enjoy an exciting boat tour through the canyon, where an exotic world of flora and fauna is waiting for you. Afterwards you go to the colonial village Chiapa del Corzo where you can visit the beautiful church and still have enough time to enjoy your lunch. From Chiapa del Corzo you continue your tour to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Overnight stay.

5. Day: San Cristóbal de las Casas & Indigenous Communities

After breakfast you visit the indigenous villages San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan where you receive an authentic impression of the customs and lifestyle of the Tzotziles and Tseltales, who are still living an autonomous and traditional life. You visit the traditional, colorful church "Templo de San Juan" and a Tzotzil family. In the afternoon you enjoy a city tour in San Cristóbal de las Casas and visit the colorful market and other important sights. Overnight stay.

6. Day: Lagos de Montebello & El Chiflón

BUENOS DIAS MEXICO

Early in the morning you head towards Amate Nango del Valle, a typical Maya Tzeltal Village, which is famous for its ceramic art. Afterwards you visit the nature reserve of Lagos de Montebello, where you can admire five of the more than 50 lakes, before we take you to the 80 meters high "El Chiflón", the biggest and maybe most beautiful waterfall of Chiapas. Here you can enjoy a refreshing bath in the crystal clear water, before you are brought back to San Cristóbal. Overnight stay.

7. Day: San Cristóbal - Agua Azul - Misol Ha & Palenque

In the early morning you visit the beautiful waterfalls of Agua Azul. Here you shouldn't miss a refreshing bath in the turquoise shimmering water and the delicious taste of the famous Empanadas. Then your tour leads to the next impressive waterfall Misol Ha and to Palenque. The archaeological site of Palenque is not the biggest one of the Mayan sites, but, due to the architectural phantasm and the unique backdrop of lush tropical rainforest, certainly one of the most impressive and most beautiful cities of the Mayan world. Overnight stay.

8. Day: Bonampak & Yaxchilan

After breakfast you are heading towards Yaxchitlan and Bonampak; both sites are, just like Palenque, highlights of the Mayan world and barely discovered by tourists, which gives grounds to hope for exciting encounters with monkeys or other animals. Usually they loudly defend their territory and we recommend you to bring sturdy shoes, because every now and then you have to dodge flying branches. Both ruins are reachable by boat only, which will take you along the border river to Guatemala, the Rio Usumacinta, straight to the ruins that are situated in the middle of the jungle Lacandona. In the evening you are brought back to your hotel in Palenque. Overnight stay.

9. Day: Palenque & Campeche

After the breakfast you go on your way to Campeche, where you can use the rest of the day to discover the little fisher town with its colorful houses on your own, or simply relax and enjoy going back in time in the ancient colony. Do not miss out on the amazing sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. It is said to be the most beautiful one of the country and can be perfectly observed from the boardwalk. Overnight stay.

10. Day: Celestún

BUENOS DIAS MEXICO

This day is a day of pure nature. In the morning your tour leads to the Celestún Beach where you can watch one of the most extensive flamingo colonies during a boat trip through the unique mangrove woods. After lunch you can enjoy your free afternoon. Experience the amazing flora and fauna, relax at the dream beach or let one of the famous restaurants spoil you with delicious seafood before we bring you back to your hotel in Mérida. Overnight stay.

11. Day: Campeche - Uxmal & Mérida

After breakfast you enjoy a city tour in Campeche, whose historic centre has been declared world heritage by the UNESCO. Then you keep going to the ruins of Uxmal, a large pre-Columbian ruined city of the Mayan civilization and the most important archeological site of the Yucatan Peninsula apart from Chichen Itza. After having lunch you go to Mérida, also well known as the "White City" because of its beautiful white colonial buildings, where you take part in another city tour. Before reaching Merida, you get to know the beautiful Hacienda Yaxcopoil, which used to be one of the most important sisal haciendas of Yucatan during the 17th century. Overnight stay.

12. Day: Mérida - Chichén Itzá & Playa del Carmen

After breakfast you leave towards Chichén Itzá, one of the seven world wonders and Mexico's most famous and best restored archeological excavation. After your guided tour you move on to the paradise Playa del Carmen. Admire the monumental Kukulkan pyramid, which is also known as "El Castillo" and all the other impressive constructions this place has to offer. After your guided tour you move on to Playa del Carmen or Cancun where your connection stay begins. Enjoy your last days in Mexico on its beautiful dream beaches before you're heading back home. 13. Day: Tulum & Playa Paraiso

Today you enjoy an ideal combination of Mayan culture, nature and water fun. After breakfast you visit the unique archaeological site of Tulum that is situated right next to the sea. You join a guided tour and have time to discover the magic place on your own before you are heading to the wonderful beach Playa Paraiso, where you can take the entire afternoon to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Afterwards you are being brought to your hotel in Playa del Carmen. overnight stay.

14. Day: Day of Departure
