Mexico Diverso - Diverse Mexico

After breakfast you will start your trip 65 km towards the incredible archeological sight Teotihuacán. You should definitely not miss the climb on either the Moon- or the Sun Hill in order to enjoy the great view over the whole area of the ancient City of God. Next you will be led towards the next station of your trip, the Basilica Guadalupe, the most famous site for pilgrims in Mexico. After having visited the old and the new Basilica, you will be brought back to your hotel. Overnight stay.

After breakfast we take you on a panorama city tour. You visit among others the most famous sites of the city, which are the huge Zocalo with its well known cathedral and the government palace with the impressive murals designed by Diego Riviera. To make the city tour perfect, it finishes off with an informative visit of the anthropological museum, which is situated on the brink of the Chapultepec Park. Afterwards you are brought back to your hotel. In the afternoon you can enjoy the opportunity to discover Mexico City on your own. Overnight stay.

 

In the morning you start from Mexico City to Cuernavaca. Because of the climate in Cuernavaca they call it deservedly "City of the eternal springtime". You visit the cathedral and the Zocalo before you keep going to Taxco where you have your lunch and visit besides the beautiful historical center, the church Santa Prisca and a silver workshop. The rest of the day you are free to discover the silver city however you like. Overnight stay.

 

Early in the morning we pick you up to go to Acapulco, which once was the most glamorous, well- known city of Mexico and still is very famous throughout the country. After arriving at your hotel at about noon, you can arrange your day according to your own tastes. Relax on the beach or the pool and let the famous Acapulco nightlife fascinate you. Walk along the promenade and experience the eventful bars and clubs with sea view providing you with an entertaining and enjoyable evening. Overnight stay.

After breakfast you go on a three-hour city trip and get to know the antique part of Acapulco. IIn the evening we pick you up to bring you to the greatest spectacle in Acapulco to adore the "Calvadistas", the famous cliff divers, which are always an exciting highlight of the Diverso Roundtrip. Daringly, they take a header down the cliff "La Quebrada" into the Pacific. This is especially venturesome as they have to observe the wave motion very carefully in order to not being dashed against the cliffs. Overnight stay.

 

After breakfast we pick you up and bring you to the airport where your flight to Mérida is waiting for you. There we pick you up again and bring you to your hotel. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, your panoramic city tour starts through Merida, which is well known as the "White City". Among other important sights, you get to know the cathedral and the government palace. Afterwards we bring you to Uxmal, Yucatans most important archeological excavation next to Chichen Itza, where you can watch the unique "Sound & Light Show" in the dusk before we bring you back to your hotel. Overnight stay.

 

After breakfast you leave towards Chichen Itza, one of the seven world wonders and Mexico's most famous and best restored archeological excavation. After your guided tour you move on to the paradise Playa del Carmen. Admire the monumental Kukulkan pyramide, which is also known as "El Castillo", and all the other impressive constructions this place has to offer. After your guided tour you move on to Playa del Carmen or Cancún where your connection stay begins. Enjoy your last days in Mexico on its beautiful dream beaches before you're heading back home.
